2Connect Group CEO is nominated for a second three-year term on the RIPE NCC Executive Board.

AMSTERDAM: In compliance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association (AoA), the RIPE NCC is calling for
nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. Candidates for the Executive Board are
nominated according to article 9 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.

The two vacant seats are for three-year terms and are to fill the places currently held by
Fahad AlShirawi and Andreas Wittkemper, whose terms expire in May 2011. The RIPE NCC
have confirmed that Mr. AlShirawi has been nominated by his industry peers to stand for
election for a second consecutive three-year term on the Executive Board.

Voting for the appointment of the RIPE NCC Executive Board members will take place at the
upcoming RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM). The GM will be held on Wednesday, 4 May 2011
from 16:00-20:00, at the NH Krasnapolsky Hotel, Amsterdam, adjacent to the RIPE 62
Meeting, which takes place from 2-6 May 2011.
