2Connect Carrier Pre-Select Service

Carrier Pre-Select (CPS) is a telecommunications service that enables customers to select 2Connect to carry their international calls.

There is no inconvenience involved with CPS, no autodiallers, manual prefixing or PBX reprogramming. You keep your existing phone numbers and continue to make calls as usual. CPS uses network access technology, so your international voice and fax traffic will be routed directly to 2Connect with no need for prefix codes. This "selection" of the 2Connect network is done automatically at the point-of-entry (the local telephone exchange) to the public telephone network. Your existing telephone lines will still be owned, managed and invoiced by your existing telecom service provider (i.e. Batelco), but all international calls will be billed to you via 2Connect. This service is provided in full compliance with the Carrier Pre-Selection guidelines and associated Code of Practice as published by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Bahrain, the details of which are available on the TRA website: www.tra.org.bh
